Q: How long is the course?

4-6 contact hours (can be run over one or two sessions as required)

Q: Who should attend?

Teachers and Schools Workers.

Q: Is there an exam?

No. Participation is encouraged throughout the day in order to gain certification.

Q: Certification

A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. Certification is valid for 3 years although we recommend that an annual Knowledge & Skills update takes place.

You will complete the course with the knowledge and confidence to provide emergency first aid, specifically within a school environment.

6 hours (Usually a one day course but can be run over 2x three hour sessions)

Q: Who should attend?

Parents of babies and children. Non-professional carers of babies and children.

Q: Is there an exam?

No – Participation during the day is encouraged in order to gain certification.

Q: Certification

A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. The certificate is valid for three years. Although certification is valid for three years, we recommend that refresher courses take place annually in order to maintain a high level of competence.

Q: What will I learn?

You will complete the course with the knowledge and confidence to provide basic first aid skills and resuscitation to a child or baby in the event of an emergency.
